Name: Fred Weasley Date of Birth: April 1, 1978 Age and Date of Death: May 1998, 20 years old Manner of Death: Killed in an explosion by Augustus Rookwood in the final Battle of Hogwarts Positions Held: Hogwarts Student, DA member, Insurgent!, informant for Potterwatch, Order of the Pheonix Member, Co-Founder of WWW History: Fred Weasley was born on April Fools Day, only minutes before his “baby brother”, and best friend, George. He lived at the Burrow with his parents in Ottery St. Catchpole, Devon. He went to Hogwarts and was sorted into Gryffindor with his brother, where he made close and quick friends with Lee Jordon and Angelina Johnson. He and George were infamous, and adored teasing his older brother Percy, causing mayhem, and having fun, and they quickly became popular. In their first year, they swiped the Marauder’s map from Filch’s office, and it didn’t take long for the two brothers to quickly figure out it’s secrets. They may not have gotten good grades, but they were damned smart. It was that intelligence which led the two to start making items like Puking Pastilles and other such concoctions, which took on fast in the school. He and his brother played on the Quidditch team as beaters, and were considered two of the best to ever play. They were known as the “Human Bludgers” for their skill, but in sixth year, he was permanently banned from the game in 1996. In 1996, before the end of his and George’s seventh year, they performed one grand act of prank against that bitch, Umbridge, and created more chaos in the school than a warzone. They became legendary for those pranks, when they created a giant swamp, and even customized fireworkers to explode in arrays of bad words through out the campus. It sent the interim headmistress on a rampage, and when she ordered the two to be beaten, they accio’d their brooms, and the two flew out together into the sunset. After school, they opened Weasleys’ Wizarding Wheezes at 93 Diagon Alley, and it was a quick hit, quickly surpassing any of their parent’s wildest dreams. He was happy doing that, with his brother by his side, and as the war raged, their store openly mocked Voldemort by the infamous slogan “Why are you worrying about You-Know-Who? You should be worrying about U-No-Poo. The Constipation sensation that’s gripping the nation!” He was also an active member of the DA in school, and then Order of the Pheonix. He participated as Rodent/Rapier on Potterwatch, and used the WWW as a method of manufacturing battle weapons and items, such as Peruvian Instant Darkness Powder, and Decoy Detonators. Setting: In the city, at the heart of the magic shops Occupation: Second Generation Marauder, Trouble Maker, Co-Owner of Weasleys Wizarding Wheezes Brief description of the character’s home: The flat above his shop, with two bedrooms, a small kitchen, a huge room for experiments and creation. The shop has a giant front room, and in the back is another spot to hold all of his massive experiments. Part of his flat is untouched, waiting for George to join him in the afterlife. Appearance: Shoulder length flaming red hair and freckles, approximately medium height to tall. He’s slender, and well toned from all his years playing beater. He’s never seen without a smile on his face. Personality: Fred is outgoing, witty, and sarcastic, always ready with a quick comeback. His mind is always on some new concoction or invention, and he’s thrown himself so much into his work that school never really was more than a place to test out his new creations. Authority meant nothing to him, as he was constantly going against the rules, causing general mischief and mayhem, and doing other things that probably should have gotten him into more trouble than they did. He was part of Dumbledore’s Army and the Order of the Pheonix, and also was a founder of Potterwatch. To him, the most important thing in life was his family, his laughter, and his brother Feorge. Likes: Jokes, experiments, causing mayhem, Quidditch, ruling Death Eaters with an iron fist of greatness, making money (LOTS of money!), George, his family, being around his brothers and sister, being a twin, confusing his mother, his potions class, his DADA class, dueling, George. And Feorge. Dislikes: Dark Arts, the Dark Lord, people who listen to the rules, rules, boring things, going to school, rules. People who hurt his brother. Snape, for cursing off his brother’s ear. Sexuality: Really not interested. The closest he’s ever come to liking anyone would be his twin, but that’s just because they’re close. Right? Love Interests: He's not allowed to like who he likes, so he'll just keep that secret, won't he? | |||||||||
